On Sunday, September 29th, the Cayuga Nature Center will host the Fox Trot 5K and Fall Festival. Enjoy a thrilling race along the trails through the beautiful grounds at the Nature Center! Registration opens on the day of the event at 8:00am, the race starts at 9:00am, and there will be fall activities until 3:00pm for the whole family! There will be live music, animal programs, apple cider demonstrations, a bounce house, crafts, guided hikes, and variety of local vendors.5K fees are $15 for pre-registration on the website, $20 for those who pay on the day of the race, and all other fall activities are included with Nature Center admission. All proceeds from this event will support the live animal program. The Nature Center overlooks Cayuga Lake on Route 89 in the Town of Ulysses, 15 minutes west of downtown Ithaca in New York. The grounds and trails are open to the public 365 days per year from dawn to dusk. The Cayuga Nature Center is a public education venue of the Paleontological Research Institution.
