Hit & Run DWI charge for Phelps man in SF

On August 15th around 12:07 am, the Town of Seneca Falls Police Department arrested a Jason G. Batcheller, age 22 of White Road in Phelps, for Driving While Intoxicated.The arrest stems from a property damage accident that occurred in a business parking lot on Cayuga Street around 11:45 pm on August 14th, 2013.Witnesses observed Batchellers vehicle backing into a parked vehicle causing severe damage . Witnesses stated that Batcheller then fled the scene.Police located Batcheller’s vehicle in a municipal parking lot which was occupied by Batcheller.Batcheller was charged with Driving While Intoxicated, Refusal to Submit to a Breath Test, and Leaving the Scene of a Property Damage accident. Batcheller was arraigned at the Town of Fayette Court and was ROR’d. Batchellers next court appearance is on August 28th, 2013 at 9:00a
