On Saturday at approximately 3:00 AM, the Waterloo Police Department arrested Michael J. Fedigan, age 27 of 1676 Powderly Road in Waterloo, for Assault 3rd degree, endangering the welfare of achild and criminal mischief 4th degree.The Waterloo Police responded to Elizabeth Crossing at 41 Church Street for a report of a domestic altercation in progress. Following the investigation of the reported domestic, Police arrested Fedigan for allegedly punching a hole in an entry door to gain access to an apartment, grabbed a female and struck her several times on the head with his fist while children were present.The female was taken to Geneva General Hospital, treated for injuries and released later the same morning.Fedigan was arraigned in the Village of Waterloo Court and Committed to the Seneca County Correctional Facility on $1500.00 bail. A class “A” order of protection was issued and he is to re-appear at a later date to answer to the charges.
