County Legislature Chairman Michael Chapman today announced the launch of Cayuga County’s redesigned and updated website. The website at www.cayugacounty.us has a new look, additional features and updated content.The site now includes easy to use navigation, improved search capabilities, user-friendly calendar functionality and an up-to-date look and feel. The County will continue to add additional features and expand the County’s on-line presence to provide increased levels of service. Event sign up is an example of an additional feature that will be available soon. The new homepage offers County residents, businesses and visitors areas of interest including; Living and Working, Doing Business, County Government and Information. Each area contains topic relevant information and is designed to quickly guide everyone to their destination on the site.The new website will provide a more efficient and timely information delivery solution by decentralizing the County’s content management process. County Departments will be able maintain their website areas and have the flexibility to update time sensitive content as needed.County IT Director Stephen Tobin encourages visitors to the new site provide feedback and suggestions by emailing [email protected] The County IT Team will work to incorporate requested features and functionality wherever possible.
