On 06/10/13 at approximately 6:31 a.m. the Seneca Falls Police Department arrested Michael D. Carfora, age 43, 2006 E. River Road, Waterloo, NY on charges of Unlawfully Growing Cannabis, Unlawful Possession of Marijuana, and Trepass. Carfora was arrested after police received a complaint of a suspicious vehicle parked next to a field on George Road. Further investigation by police revealed that Carfora was trespassing and growing cannabis without having a license to do so. He was arraigned in Fayette and released after posting bail. He is to appear in Seneca Falls Town Court on 06/12/13 at 10:00 a.m. to answer the charges. The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office assisted in the arrest.On 06/17/13 at approximately 3:27 p.m. the Seneca Falls Police Department arrested David J. Neinast, age 64, of 2722 Kingdom Road, Seneca Falls, NY for Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle in the 2nd Degree and Operating a Motor Vehicle in violation of restriction/conditions. Police state that while investigating a harassment complaint involving Neinast, his was stopped and questioned about that complaint. Upon checking his license status, he was found to have a suspended conditional license. He was released on traffic tickets to a family member and is to appear in Seneca Falls Town Court on 06/27/13 at 10:00 a.m. to answer the charges.On 06/17/13 at approximately 7:40 p.m. the Seneca Falls Police Department arrested Willie H. Spann, age 46, of Geneva, NY for Petit Larceny. Spann is accused of stealing merchandise from a local business and left prior to police arrival. He was located a few minutes later and taken into custody. He was released on an appearance ticket and is to appear in Seneca Falls Town Court on 06/20/13 at 10:00 a.m. to answer the charge. Seneca Falls Police were assisted at the scene by the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office and Waterloo Police Department.
