3rd suspect in manhunt still at-large

As erroneously reported by several media outlets Jonathan O. Rivera, one of two suspects remaining at-large after Sunday night’s shooting in Geneva, is not in custody at this time.Several media outlets, first on WHAM in Rochester, reported that a 3rd suspect was in custody early Wednesday morning. It turns out, the report was a result of an unrelated, yet coincidentally similar, arrest made in New York City.A suspect with that name and Date of Birth was taken into custody in NYC, not related to this case. Detectives and Investigators from Geneva & Ontario County Sheriff’s Department confirmed this in New York City with NYPD at 9:00 this morning.The following suspects are still wanted for questioning in the pursuit and Officer involved shooting. The coordinated effort of the Geneva Police, Ontario County Sheriffs, New York State Police & US Marshals continues.
