Just a quick reminder that the Seneca Falls Farmers Market will be back in action again tomorrow, Wednesday, June 19th from 9AM to 1:30PM in People’s Park along the canal. Nice weather is expected once again so get out and enjoy the fresh air and beautiful location and shop local! The park is full of vendors this year and here are a few of the items you can expect to see there tomorrow:Romaine lettuce, radishes, garlic scapes, beets, potatoes, swiss chard, kale, strawberries, asparagus, are on tap for fresh produce selections plus grass fed non-gmo lamb, pork and chicken, goat milk, goat cheese, goat yogurt, fresh baked goods like rhubarb cake, strawberry rhubarb pie, turnovers, sweet rolls, Danish, and even gluten free baked goods! There’s also honey and maple syrup and jams and jellies, crafts, tomato and pepper plants and other plants in unique pots…the list goes on and on so stop down and see for yourself!Picnic tables are scattered throughout the scenic park so you can enjoy your lunch from Dave & Rita’s Farm Market and Bakery. Tomorrow they will be serving up pulled pork sandwiches, three cheese mac and cheese, cole slaw and a pasta dish with sausage.Once again any vendor selling food stamp eligible items will be accepting SNAP benefits to buy their products.
