Two young Wayne County residents lost their lives early Monday morning in a one-car crash in Macedon.NYS Troopers report the crash happened on Canandaigua Road between Victor Road and Cockle Road in Macedon just after 3:00 am.The report states Hailee Winston, age 18, of Palmyra was driving southbound on Canandaigua Road when her vehicle crossed the northbound lane. Police said she was driving on the east shoulder when she tried to re-gain control of the vehicle and then traveled back across the northbound lane and off the road, striking a utility pole.Winston and a passenger Jose Munoz, age 20, of Palmyra were both pronounced dead at the scene.The cause of the crash is under investigation.
