Geneva man nabbed with 13 bags of cocaine

On Wednesday at about 7:21 pm, the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit arrested Ray L. Hennigan, 35, of Hamilton Street, Geneva, New York, on several charges following a joint investigation with the Geneva Police Department Drug Enforcement Unit.Members of the Sheriff’s Office and Geneva Police Department placed Hennigan in custody following a traffic stop on Waterloo/Geneva Road in the Town of Waterloo. Sheriff’s Investigators found Hennigan to be in possession of thirteen (13) invidually packaged baggies of cocaine. Sheriff’s Investigators also seized a quantity of United States Currency. It is further alleged that Hennigan sold a quantity of cocaine in the Town of Waterloo.Hennigan was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the third degree, Class B Felonies, Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the third degree, a Class Felony, and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the fifth degree, a Class D Felony.Hennigan was arraigned in the Waterloo Town Court and remanded to the Seneca County Correctional Facility on no bail. Hennigan is to reappear in the Waterloo Town Court on June 11, 2013 at 10am.
