Seneca Falls Police Beat for 6/2/13

2 people were charged with on petit larceny following a larceny investigation at a Town of Seneca Falls business on May 29, 2013. Town police arrested Sarah A. Ward, age 32, and Thomas E. Tyman, Jr., both of 2022 Balsley Road, Seneca Falls, NY after the pair were observed taking items from a local business without paying for them. The pair were observed walking through the parking lot with the stolen merchandise and were apprehended with assistance from the Waterloo Village Police Department, Seneca County Sheriff’s Office, and New York State Police. Both were issued appearance tickets for the above charge and released. They are to appear in Seneca Falls Town Court on 06/20/13 to answer the charge. On 05/30/13 at approximately 10:42 p.m. the Seneca Falls Police Department arrested Brian T. Barrett, age 26, of 76 Chestnut Street, Dansville, NY for Criminal Contempt in the 2nd Degree. Barrett is accused of being at a town residence in violation of a stay-away order of protection. He was arraigned in Fayette Town Court and committed to SCCF on $5000 Cash/$10,000 Bond and has to appear in Seneca Falls Town Court on 06/12/13 at 10:00 a.m. to answer the charge.
