On Thursday afternoon at 2:58 pm, Penn Yan Police charged Amanda D. Eaves, age 28 of South Street in Himrod, with criminally possessing a hypodermic instrument.Police received a complaint of a person with a needle in the Knapp parking lot. When police arrived. officers located Amanda Eaves who was found to be in possession of a hypodermic needle.Eaves was arraigned in the Town of Benton Court and remanded to the Yates County Jail in lieu of $1,000 cash and $2,000 bond.
