Severe thrunderstorms emerged near Penn Yan and passed through the central Finger Lakes region at approximately 1:00 pm today bringing strong winds, heavy rain, and large hail to Ontario, southern Wayne, and northern Seneca counties.WHAM TV has posted a photo on Twitter of hail that fell in Geneva and it is legitimately the size of a golf ball.
