On May 12th, 2013 at 9:30am Town of Seneca Falls Police responded to the Holiday Inn for a report of a possible fire. Upon arrival Police and Fire personal found smoke in the west wing of the hotel. The hotel was evacuated while the fire department personal searched for the cause.After a short time Fire Chief Al Larsen reported that the smoke was caused by a motor that burned out in the heat and air condition unit on the roof and that there was no fire.Town of Seneca Falls Police were assisted at the scene by the Town of Seneca Falls Fire Department, North Seneca Ambulance, Seneca County Emergency Management and the Holiday Inn staff.
