Geneva man arrested for sex abuse of children

In conjunction with the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office, Niagara County District Attorney’s Office, Buffalo Office of the FBI, Genesee County District Attorney’s Office, Genesee County Sheriff’s Office, Middleport Police Department and the Batavia Police Department, an arrest has been made after an extensive and on-going investigation into the abuse of numerous children in the City of Batavia, Genesee County and Niagara County. Sean M. Vickers, age 44 and a level 3 NYS registered sex offender, was arrested by the Batavia City Police in Geneva, N.Y. on 04/22/13, regarding this investigation. He was arraigned in Batavia City Court and remanded to the Genesee County Jail. Vickers is currently being charged with Course of Sexual Conduct Against a Child 1st degree (B Felony) and Sodomy 1st degree (B Felony) Bail has been set at $500 thousand dollars. Also warrants have been issued out of Niagara County for Vickers arrest on two counts of Course of Sexual Conduct Against a Child in the 1st degree.
