Enjoying the nice weather and itching to plant something? Have you always wanted an herb garden outside your door so you can use fresh herbs to cook with? Wishing you could look out your window and see pretty flowers growing everywhere? Seneca County Cornell Cooperative Extension (SCCCE) has just the workshop for you! “Growing Flowers and Herbs” was developed by two SCCCE Master Gardeners to give you information about site selection, soil preparation, when and what to plant and even starting your own seeds. Whether you are new to gardening or an old pro, this workshop will give you valuable information to help you grow tasty herbs and beautiful flowers!The workshop will be held on Tuesday, May 7th from 6 to 7:30PM at the Interlaken Library, 8390 Main Street, Interlaken. The program is free and open to the public. Advance registration is encouraged and appreciated so we can better plan for the classes.
