On Wednesday, Penn Yan Village Police arrested Faylind B. Petersen, age 18, of Liberty Street in Penn Yan.Peterson was charged with felony assault after an investigation into the stabbing of another Village of Penn Yan resident that occurred during the evening hours of Saturday, April 13th.The victim was stabbed in the abdomen and required hospitalization and surgery for internal injuries.Peterson was arraigned and committed to the Yates County Jail on bail.
