Waterloo Police Department responded to a two car personal injury accident on East Main Street in front of the Urgent Care Center around 4 pm on Monday afternoon. Leman Watkins, age 82 of Stanton Meadows in Seneca Falls was attempting to leave the driveway of the Urgent Care Center, when he pulled into the path of a westbound vehicle, being operated by Harry PettingillJr, age 88 of Route 89 in Seneca Falls. Waterloo Fire Dept had to extricate Mr. Watkins from his vehicle. He was treated at the scene by North Seneca Ambulance and transported by Mercy Flight to Upstate Medical Center for further medical treatment. Mr. Pettingill was also removed from his car by members of the Waterloo Fire Department and North Seneca Ambulance. He was transported to Geneva General Hospital for medical treatment.
