GENEVA—Geneva Middle School Principal Carmine Calabria has been placed on administrative leave. “There are issues that came to our attention that need to be investigated,” explained Superintendent Trina Newton. “We want the investigation to move forward without impediments.“We are unable to release any information regarding employees of the Geneva City School District. As always, our number one priority is the education of our students. Our goal is to continue to provide a safe, calm educational environment that promotes learning. We have systems in place to continue the normal operation of our middle school as we deal with this personnel matter.”
