Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports that Sheriff’s Deputies on March 22nd at 12:05 p.m. arrested Jeremiah J. Randall age 26 of County Road 129 Ovid and Robert W. Lyman age 26 of State Route 96 in Interlaken following an investigation to a report of a subject shooting cats.It is alleged that Lyman and Randall killed two cats with a rifle on March 16th 2013 while on County Road 129 in the Town of Ovid.Lyman and Randall were charged under the Environmental Conservation Law for Discharging a Firearm with 500 foot of a dwelling and the NYS Agricultural and Markets Law for Cruelty to Animals. Both were issued appearance tickets to appear in Ovid Town Court at a later date
