Seneca Falls Police say a 25-year-old man burned a 5-year-old’s hand with a hot light bulb. On Monday, Seneca Falls Police arrested Michael A. Cotto Jr, age 25 of Fall Street in Seneca Falls for Endangering the welfare of a child and assault in the 3rd degree.The charges stem from an investigation by the Seneca Falls Police Department and Seneca County Child Protective. It is alleged that Cotto forcibly held a 5-year-old’s hand over a hot light bulb causing burns to the child’s finger.Cotto was arraigned in the Town of Seneca Falls Court and remanded to the Seneca County Correctional Facility in Lieu of $1000 cash $2000 secure bond. Cotto is scheduled to re-appear in the Town of Seneca Falls Court on April 10th, 2013.
