The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports that on Tuesday at 12:31 am, Seneca County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Joseph C Smith, age 33, of State Route 318 in Phelps, on State Route 318 in the Town of Junius. He was charged with Driving While Intoxicated with a BAC of .08% or more, DWI, Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle in the 2nd Degree and Failure to keep right. Smith was arraigned in the Town of Tyre Court, Justice Mills where he was committed to the Seneca County Correctional Facility in lieu of $1,000 cash bail or $2,000 secured bond. Smith is due to reappear in the Town of Junius Court on 03-21-13 at 7:00pm to answer the charges.
