On Sunday at 6:55 pm, Seneca County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a two car property damage MVA at the intersection of County Rd 142 and W. Covert Road in the Town of Covert.Upon further investigation it was discovered that a driver of one of the vehicles was under the influence of alcphol.Deputies arrested Zachary J. Gardner, 23, of County Rd 143 in the Town of Covert. He was charged with Driving While Intoxicated, Driving with .18% or more, and Fail to Yield Right of Way at a Stop Sign.Gardner was arraigned in the Town of Lodi Court and ROR’d. Gardner is to reappear in the Town of Covert Court on April 1, 2013 to answer the charges.
