Penn Yan police arrested Sarah Clark of Carpenter Lane in Penn Yan after a complaint that she was attempting to cash a forged check.Clark was found in possession of two stolen forged checks, a stolen visa rebate card, and drug paraphernalia.She was charged with two counts of Criminal Possession of a forged instrument, criminal possession of stolen property, and endangering the welfare of a child.Clark was arraigned in Village Court where bail was set at $10,000 cash and $20,000 secured bond.The Yates County Sheriff’s Investigator assisted in the investigation and arrest.
