Finger Lakes Young Professionals meet tonight

The Finger Lakes Young Professionals are pleased to announce the next monthly Social Networking event will be held on March 7th from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Eleven Lakes Winery, located at 3550 Route 89 in Seneca Falls.Started in August, 2009, Eleven Lakes Winery has quickly become a favorite stop along the Cayuga Lake Wine Trail for wine enthusiasts. Owner Matt Jones, a Waterloo native and current member of the Finger Lakes Young Professionals, has worked hard to promote the local industry and differentiate Eleven Lakes among its competitors.Eleven Lakes aspires to create an atmosphere where visitors of all demographics can both enjoy themselves and gain a bit of knowledge about the industry. This fun, yet educational experience begins with the name of the winery – and continues throughout the décor that adorns the walls of the tasting room. The labels on each of the eight different varieties of wine include facts about the Finger Lakes and the name of the winery stems from the eleven glacially formed lakes of the region“The Finger Lakes Young Professionals offer a great resource for young professionals looking to connect to one another and create new business relationships. I am very pleased to be a part of this organization and look forward to sharing my entrepreneurial experiences with our membership,” said Jones.In addition to complimentary wine tasting and refreshments, Hors d’oeuvres will be provided by another FLYP member, RiverPark Grille. Guests are encouraged to RSVP through the FLYP Facebook page and bring promotional flyers or raffle prizes from their respective businesses.FLYP Social Networking events are free and open to anyone who would like to network with young professionals in the Finger Lakes Region.
