Kindergarten orientations in Geneva on Wed.

The Geneva City School District will be hosting the first of two kindergarten orientations this Wednesday (March 6).If a child will be 5 years old on or before Dec. 1, 2013 they are eligible for kindergarten in the fall. Orientation Wednesday is for those with last names that start with letters A-L, with the second on March 20 for those with last names that start with letters M-Z. Those with conflicts may attend the alternate night.Both evenings will begin at 6:30 p.m. at West Street School, with the same information translated in Spanish beginning at 6 p.m. At the March 20 orientation at 6 p.m. there will be an informational meeting about special needs.This is an adult event, however childcare will be provided.
