On Tuesday morning just before 11:00 am, Seneca Falls Police arrested Joseph H. Custer, age 31, of Newark. The arrest stemmed from an investigation over an incident on January 26, 2013 and an incident January 30, 2013 in the Town of Seneca Falls.As a result, Custer was charged with sexual abuse in the first degree (class D felony) and two counts of harassment in the second degree.Arraignment was before Waterloo Village Justice Dean Mattoon. Custer was committed to the Seneca County Correctional Facility on $1500.00 cash bail / $3000.00 secure bond. A felony hearing was scheduled for 02/08.2013 @ 1:30 pm in Seneca Falls Town Court.A class a order of protection was issued for the victim.
