Eric Caballero, age 28 of Penn Yan, was arrested and charged with endangering the welfare of a child after he fell asleep while supervising his 4-year-old son. While asleep, the boy wandered away from their residence on Elm Street in the Village of Penn Yan.Police were alerted by a passerby who noticed the child near the Keuka Lake Outlet pedestrian bridge near Liberty Street and brought the child to the police station.Police were able to identify the child and return him to his mother.Caballero was issued an appearance ticket to appear in the Village of Penn Yan Court on February 19th.
