Waterloo man charged after cops find heroin, cracj

On Friday evening, Seneca County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Investigators arrested Matthew D. Delpapa, 31, of Waterloo, New York, following an investigation into heroin and cocaine activity in Seneca County.It is alleged that Delpapa was operating a motor vehicle on Route 318 in the Town of Junius while under the influence of heroin. Sheriff’s Narcotics Investigators executed a search warrant on the vehicle operated by Delpapa and discovered a quantity of heroin, crack cocaine, and hypodermic needles.Delpapa was charged with:*Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the third degree – 2 counts (Class B Felonies) *Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the fifth degree (Class D Felony)*Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs (Misdemeanor) Delpapa was arraigned in the Junius Town Court and remanded to the Seneca County Correctional Facility I lieu of $5,000 cash bail/$10,000 secured bond.Delpapa is to reappear in the Junius Town Court on February 6, 2013 at 7pm. The Sheriff’s Narcotics Unit was assisted by the Sheriff’ s Uniform Road Patrol and the New York State Police Community Narcotics Enforcement Team.
