Newark 64, Lyons 50 Newark (9-4) bested Lyons (12-2) 64-50 yesterday in Section V boy’s basketball action. Newark’s Jaymee Rosser shot for 15 points and had six rebounds while Anthony Lombardi shot for 12 total points with nine rebounds and Tyler Collins added an additional 10 points with seven rebounds. Lyons’ Devan Veeder led all scoring with an 18-point game while teammate Tre’ Johnson shot for 10 in the loss. Penfield 56, Victor 41 Penfield (10-5) topped Victor (0-15) 56-41 yesterday in boy’s Section V action. Lorenzo Stallworth of Penfield led all scoring with 23 points and had16 rebounds while Mitch Cote tagged on 8-points and had 12 assists. Victor’s Luis Rivera had a 12-point game respectively in the loss.
