Multiple area FD’s battle Middlesex Fire

Finger Lakes Daily News reports that firefighters from Middlesex, Rushville, Penn Yan, Benton, Cristal Springs and Branchport departments were called to battle a large fire at the Middlesex Highway Barns on Mill Street around 9:30 Friday night.The damage has been reported as being extensive and includes three vehicles. One witness said that at least two of the town’s snow plows have been extensively damaged.Firefighters from though-out the area braved bitter cold to put out the blaze
