West Genesee (7-5) beat Auburn (5-7) yesterday in Section III boy’s basketball action. West Genesee’s Shane Temara shot for 19 total points while Phil Allen added 16 and Michael Henry another 15. Auburn’s Trent Ward led all scoring with 21 total points. Mike Charles shot for 19 and teammate Chris Courtney chipped in another 12 in the loss. Auburn will be back in action on January 25, 2013 as they host Fayetteville-Manlius in a 7pm match up.
