The quaint and tranquil region of the Finger Lakes and the Grammy awards usually have little in common. However, local hard rock band Nasty Habit is working to change that.Having just advanced to the finals of the CBS Grammy gig of a lifetime competition, these boys are headed full throttle down the path to an outstanding and possibly life changing opportunity. But they need your help!The CBS Grammy Gig of a lifetime is just that, the gig of a lifetime. The winners of this competition are rewarded with an all expenses paid trip to perform live at the 2013 Grammy event. In addition, if selected by Microsoft, they could appear on a Microsoft TV commercial/advertising campaign. As the mid Atlantic regional finalists, Nasty Habit is now up against the nations 6 other finalists. These finalists will be judged based on the criteria of: The bands performance, stage presence, overall image and lastly, public votes. This is where you come in. The public serves as an additional “judge” in the competition. Each individual (facebook profile) is given 10 votes a day to cast for their favorite act. Whichever act receives the most public votes gets that “judges” vote.
