Four youths arrested in Fayette burglary – FingerLakes1.com Archive

The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports that Investigators arrested four juveniles and charged them with Burglary in the third degree a class D felony, Criminal Mischief in the third degree a class E felony and Petit Larceny a class A misdemeanor.It is alleged that the four juveniles, two 13-year-olds and two 15-year-olds, whose names are being withheld due to their ages, left the campus of Hillside children’s center where they are being held and walked to a Town of Fayette business.While there the four youths took rocks from the roadside and threw them through the front window of the building. They then pushed out the broken glass and entered the building.While inside the four youths stole cartons and packs of cigarettes, cigars and lighters.After removing the stolen items from the building the youths went back to the campus of Hillside children’s center where they hid the stolen property for use at a later time.All involved have been arrested and are to report to Seneca County Probation to commence court action for the crimes.
