A busy night in Wayne-Finger Lakes boy’s basketball on Wednesday night included a close game between Dundee and Red Jacket as well as Naples and Webster Schroeder continuing their winning ways. Each of the two teams had just one loss this season. Dundee 66, Red Jacket 63 Dundee (6-3) edged Red Jacket (4-5) 66-63 yesterday in boy’s Section V basketball action. The two teams were tied at 31 at the half but Dundee would outscore Red Jacket 25-7 in third quarter for the win. Dundee’s Aksel Jensen had a 15-point game while teammate Andrew Clark shot 11 total points. Mike Giaconia of Red Jacket had a 27-point game and 17 rebounds. Naples 53, HAC 42 Yesterday in boy’s basketball Section V action Naples (7-1) topped HAC (1-9) 53-42. Naples’ Jake Ball lead all scoring with 18 total points while teammate Adrian Black added another 12. Isaiah Tilley had 12 rebounds, 5 assists, 4 steals and, 2 blocks for Naples. HAC’s Bryan Wang had an 11-point game including 3-three point shots. Amos Frye added another 10 points in the HAC loss. Honeoye 57, Bloomfield 43 Honeoye (7-2) beat Bloomfield 57-43 yesterday in Section V boy’s basketball action. Honeoye’s Ben Cratsley led all scoring with 33 total points. Bloomfield’s Sean Fitzgerald had an 18-point game with 3 rebounds while teammate Alex Flattery had a 16-point game with 14 rebounds. Webster-Schroeder 70, Victor 37 Webster-Schroeder (8-1) topped Victor (0-10) 70-37 yesterday in Section V boy’s basketball action. Webster-Schroeder’s Gunner Blaise and Mitchell Herman each had 19-point games while Emitt Holt shot for 21 total points. Holt also had 12 rebounds. Conor Powers of Victor had an 11-point game and Luis Rivera shot 8 total points in the loss. Irondequoit 54, Canandaigua 46 Irondequoit (7-1) beat Canandaigua (3-8) in Section V boy’s basketball action yesterday. Irondequoit’s Derrick Kemp had an 8-point game with 6 assists while Cameron Shafer shot for 10 points and had 8 rebounds and Tyler Stenglein shot for 16 total points. Canandaigua’s Dillon Mergenthaler had a 9-point game while teammate Sean Outhouse led the scoring charge for the Braves with 13 points.
