On Sunday afternoon at 2:26 pm, Seneca County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a personal injury auto accident on State Route 414 in the Town of Fayette.A vehicle driven south on State Route 414 by 65 year old George T. Hunt of State Route 414 in Seneca Falls was waiting in traffic and stopped to turn left into his driveway when a vehicle driven by 27 year old Ashley A. Pasqua-Godkin came from behind and struck the stopped Hunt vehicle.The collision caused the Hunt vehicle to go off the east side of the road and come to rest in a snow bank.Hunt was treated at the scene by North Seneca Ambulance for a head injury and then transported by North Seneca Ambulance to Strong Memorial Hospital. Pasqua-Godkin was treated at the scene for a minor injury.Pasqua-Godkin was issued a traffic ticket for speed not reasonable and prudent for special hazards. Pasqua-Godkin will have to appear in Fayette Town Court to answer the charge.Fayette Vol. Fire Department also responded to the scene to assist.
