On the 3rd of Jaunary 2013 at approximately 7:10pm The Seneca Falls Police Department responded to the intersection of State Route 318 and Auburn Rd for a property damage motor vehicle accident. Mahina Mahina age 18, of 800 Kossuth Ave, Syracuse, NY 13501 was arrested for Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle in the 3rd Degree and multiple other traffic violations. Officers learned that Mahina’s driving privileges had been suspended for failing to answer a summons out of Oneida County. The property damage accident involved Mahina’s vehicle and another vehicle which soon left the scene of the accident before authorities arrived and has not been identified yet. The investigation and statements Mahina made to officers led the Seneca Falls Police to believe that Mahina’s vehicle was traveling east on State Route 318 at an unsafe speed, hitting an patch of ice prior to the Route 318/ Auburn Rd intersection. This sent Mahina’s vehicle out into the intersection, colliding witha vehicle that was traveling North East on Auburn Rd. Mahina was also charged with speed not reasonable and prudent, failure to stop and a stop sign, failure to maintain safe lane, failure to yield right of way. Mahina was issued traffic tickets for all offenses and released. He is to appear in the Town of Seneca Falls Court on the 17th of January 2013 at 10:00 am. The Seneca County Sheriffs Office assisted with the investigation.On December 23rd 2012 at approximatly 7:07pm Seneca Falls Police arrested Dorothy J. Crimmins age 33 of 2133 State Route 5 building 15 apartment D Seneca Falls New York, 13148 for endangering the welfare of a child. This arrest resulted from a domestic dispute at the residence. Crimmins was released on an appearance ticket and is to appear in Seneca Falls Town Court on January 17th 2013 at 10:00am to answer her charge.On December 17th, 2012 Seneca Falls Police arrested Brian K. Wray age 39 of 2022 Balsley Road Apt. 211 for harassment 2nd. This arrest stems from an incident that occured on Friday December 14th, 2012 while Wray was being transported to Geneva General Hospital by North Seneca Ambulance. Wray was issued an appearance ticket and is to appear in Seneca Falls Town Court on January 10th, 2012 at 10:00am to answer his charge.
