Union Springs edged Weedsport last night in Section III boy’s basketball action . The loss drops Weedsport to 2-3-0 this season. Weedsport’s JJ O’Connor had a 15-point game while teammate Joe Fritz shot for 14 points. Joe Yorio chipped in another 8 but Union Springs would out shoot Weedsport 19-11 in the fourth quarter to make the difference.Weedsport will be back in action on January 4, 2012 when they host LaFayette in a 5:30pm match up.
