Southern Cayuga beat Port Byron 85-76 in Section III boy’s basketball action. The win was Southern Cayuga’s first of the year. With the loss Port Byron is now 6-2-0 this season. Southern Cayuga out shot Oirt Byron in each of the four quarters played. Port Byron’s Colton Dennis collected 28 total points while teammate Tyler Dixon had 13, Jon Kudla chipped in 12 and Mithel Weigand added an additonal 10 in the loss. Port Byron will be next in action on January 18, 2013 at 5:30pm when they travel to Fabius-Pompey.
