Hannibal topped Cato-Meridian 69-46 yesterday in Section III boy’s basketball action improving their record to 4-5-0 this season. With the loss Cato-Meridian has now lost their first seven games of the season. Hannibal’s Jake Shortslef led all scoring with 29 total points while teammate Jacob Schenko shot for 10. Joe Schneider led Cato-Meridian’s scoring charge with 17 total points while teammate Zach Garrigan chipped in another 12.Cato-Meridian will be back in action on January 4, 2013 when they travel to Tully for a 5:30pm match up.
