Tom Kanaley has scored a ton of points, for multiple teams, in many different gyms over his varsity basketball career. Last season he wore the colors of DeSales and played in the Finger Lakes West. This year, he’s at Clyde-Savannah competing in the Wayne County League. On Thursday, he was a long way from either school when he scored his 1,000th career point at a tournament hosted in Watkins Glen.Clyde-Savannah (6-0) defeated Newfield (3-5) 81-47 in Watkins Glen. Newfield plays out of Section 4.Kanaley led all scorers with 23 points that gave him over 1,000 for his high school career.Joemaine Bogan had 18 points and 6 rebounds for the Golden Eagles while Joe Faniel had 12. Kam DiSanto scored 9 points and contributed 12 rebounds and 6 assists.
