Three indicted for felony DWI in Seneca Co.

Frederick W. Norris, Jr., 27, of 5535 State Rout 96, Romulus, NY, was charged with Driving While Intoxicated, a class E Felony punishable by a maximum sentence of 1 1/3 to 4 years. The indictment alleges that on August 10, 2012, Norris operated a motor vehicle while in an intoxicated condition in the Town of Varick. The indictment resulted from an investigation conducted by the Seneca County Sheriff’s Department.Anne L. Johnson, 44, of Chesnut Street, Waterloo, NY, was charged with felony Driving While Intoxicated, a class E Felony. The indictment alleges that on May 19, 2012, Johnson operated a motor vehicle while in an intoxicated condition on a public street in the Village of Waterloo. The indictment also alleged that Johnson operated the vehicle without a safety belt and failed to drive the vehicle on the right side of the roadway. The indictment resulted from an investigation conducted by the Waterloo Police Department.Scott L. Kidder, 46, of Edwards Road, Waterloo, NY, was charged with Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated (.18% blood-alcohol content or higher) and felony Driving While Intoxicated, both class E Felonies, and making an improper right turn, a traffic infraction. The indictment alleged that on June 29, 2012, at the intersection of Virginia Street and Elisha Street in the Village of Waterloo, Kidder operated a motor vehicle while in an intoxicated condition and while having .18 of one per centum or more by weight of alcohol in his blood as shown by chemical analysis of his blood. The indictment resulted from an investigation conducted by the Seneca County Sheriff’s Department.The charges against the defendants are accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty in a court of law.
