Auburn topped Rome Free Academy 77-46 yesterday in Section III boy’s basketball action. The win improves Auburn’s record to 3-1-0 on the season while the loss drops Rome Free Academy to 2-6-0 in 2012-13.Auburn out shot Rome Free Academy in each of the four quarters played yesterday. Auburn’s Mike Charles led all scoring with 21 points while teammates Kareef Rufus and Trent Ward each score 13 points. Rome Free Academy’s Jeff Cooke had 10 points in the loss.Auburn will be back in action on January 3, 2013 at 7:00 pm when they travel to Oswego.
