Yesterday in Section V boy’s basketball action Pittsford-Mendon edged Canandaigua 65-60 in two overtimes.Canandaigua’s Ian Brown who had 10 points for the Braves made a layup with 24 seconds left in 4th quarter to force overtime. Colin McGlynn added 12 points and 7 rebounds while Dillon Mergenthaler chipped in 13 points and 7 rebounds and Sean Outhouse put in another 11 points in their eventual loss. Pittsford-Mendon’s Nick Baglieri had 16 points while team mate Matt D’Amico added 17 points and Matt Sullivan chipped in 18 points.Canandaigua will be back in action on Friday, December 21 when they “travel” to Victor for a 7:30 pm matchup at FLCC.
