Faith Heritage topped Port Byron yesterday 54-49 in Section III, OHSL boy’s basketball action. Faith Heritage is now 6-1-0 on the season while the loss marks Port Byron’s (5-1-0) first of the season.Faith Heritage out shot Port Byron in each of last night’s four quarters. Luke Last led all scoring with 24 total points. Charlie Mitchell added 15 points while Jordan Malara chipped in 11 points.Port Byron’s Colton Dennis had a 21 point game.Port Byron will be back in action on Wednesday, January 9, 2012 when they host LaFayette for a 5:30 pm match up.
