On Friday at 7:08 in the morning a 911 call was received indicating that a male 73 years of age, was withdrawing money from the Drive Thru ATM located @ Five Star Bank, 387 Hamilton Street, when he was approached by a male who demanded money. After a brief struggle, the suspect forcibly took an amount of currency from the person of the victim. The suspect then fled on foot towards Hamilton Street. The victim was not injured. A weapon was indicated, but never seen.On Monday, Geneva Police have announced an arrest in this incident.On Monday, a suspect was taken into custody. Arrested wasEdwin NMN Feliciano, 42 years of age, of William Street in Geneva. He was charged with Robbery in the First Degree, a Class B Felony.Geneva’s Chief of Police comments, “Unfortunately within the last several days we have had two random acts of violence subjecting harm to victims going about their normal day.It is because of the determination of the Geneva Police Department Officers, Detectives and the public that has come forth with valuable information that we were able to take into custody these dangerous individuals. Just because quick arrests were made in these cases our work does not stop there.We will continue to look at the suspects actions within the last several weeks and I am confident that he will face additional charges.”
