The Honeoye Falls-Lima Bulldogs edged the Braves of Canandaigua 55-46 yesterday in Section V boy’s basketball action. The win evens the Bulldogs record at 2-2 and continues a streak of three consecutive wins. The Bulldogs’ Jake Apthorpe had 9 points and 12 rebounds, Jack McDonald shot for 12 points, Alex Obenhofer added 12 points, including going 4-for-4 in free throws in last minute while team mate Andrew Wager chipped in 10 more points in the win. Colin McGlynn led the scoring charge for Canandaigua with 11 points. His team mates Ian Brown and Sean Thomson both had 8 point games respectively. On Tuesday, December 18, 2012 Honeoye Falls-Lima will be back in action as they host HAC for a 7:30 tip-off. The Braves will be back in action a day later on Wednesday, December 19, 2012 when they play host to Pittsford-Mendon. The home game will be the last in a string of five home games for the Braves who will hit the road on Friday, December 21 for the first time this season.
