Arrest of Geneva man buying another’s prescription

On Monday, Michael R. McLean of Geneva was arrested by the Seneca Falls Police Department for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th degree. The arrest stems from an incident on the 18th of November where the Seneca Falls Police Department responded to a residence in the Town of Seneca Falls for larceny complaint.The Seneca Falls Police Department conducted an investigation which consisted of statements from the parties involved and surveillance videos from the local drug store. The evidence collected led Police to believe that Michael McLean went into a local drug store, signed for and purchased another individuals prescription of Suboxone without having permission to do so.McLean was processed and issued an appearance ticket. McLean is to appear on the charges in the Town of Seneca Falls Court on the 3rd of January 2012 to answer the charges.
