Penn Yan police investigated a motor vehicle-pedestrian accident on Liberty Street in from of St. Michael’s Church at 5:01 pm on Saturday. The investigation revealed that the victim, Karen Pulver stepped out into the path of a northbound vehicle operated by Shane McMinn of Penn Yan.Pulver was transported by ambulance to Strong Memorial Hospital for her injuries.On Monday, it was learned that Pulver is still hospitalized at Strong Memorial for treatment of a broken pelvis and head injuries and is listed in satisfactory condition.No tickets have been issued and the accident remains under investigation.
