Philip White of Main Street in Penn Yan was charged on Tuesday with criminal impersonation in the second degree when he represented himself to be another person during the course of an arrest warrant investigation in an attempt to avoid the possible arrest.It was later confirmed that he was not the person he was claiming to be, resulting in the above charge. He was arraigned in Penn Yan Village Court where he was remanded to the Yates County Jail.
