FLCC’s Campus Gate completed early

Construction to renovate Campus Gate at Finger Lakes is completed early and under budget, and the off-campus housing for Finger Lakes Community College students is nearly 100 percent occupied, according to Mascia Development LLC.The real estate development firm announced today that 98.1 percent of the 216 beds have been leased, which is above proforma occupancy. Mascia Development invested more than $2 million to completely renovate the former Heritage Hall property at 4350 Lakeshore Drive. Located across from FLCC, Campus Gate gives students a more affordable and convenient off-campus housing option.Campus Gate’s all-inclusive single, double and triple suites, which range from $549 to $699 per person per month, which includes all utilities, high-speed WiFi, cable TV, fully furnished bedrooms, a 40-inch HD flat-screen television, and kitchen appliances.“Based on how quickly our suites have been leased, it hasn’t taken long for FLCC students and their parents to realize Campus Gate’s tremendous value and convenience compared to other housing options in the area,” said Mark Mascia, president and CEO, Mascia Development. “We are delighted to have completed construction on time and under budget, through our partnerships with HBT Architects and Whitney East Inc.”Mascia Development announced the more than $3 million purchase of the former Heritage Hall property in June 2012.
